She Loves Tech will host the final round of the seventh edition of its startup competition for women entrepreneurs virtually from 3:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. (GMT +8) on Saturday, as part of the She Loves Tech Global Summit on December 3 and 4.
Established in 2015, She Loves Tech is a global platform that is committed to closing the fundraising gap for female entrepreneurs: it aims to unlock over USD 1 billion in capital for women-led businesses by 2030. Each year, the competition attracts thousands of startups from around the world.
She Loves Tech Global Summit
The summit features a lineup of world-renowned guest speakers on one virtual stage, each of whom will speak about the importance of female leadership in entrepreneurship, investment, networking, food, and more in a changing world.
Women have and are building groundbreaking technologies, but they often go unrecognized because they were not in the spotlight. This leads to an unfortunate misconception that women are not strong contenders in tech, said Leanne Robers, Rhea See, and Virginia Tan, co-founders of She Loves Tech in a press release.
“It’s been wonderful to see such enthusiastic participation in the competition and the stellar lineup of speakers we have this year, because it shows that women are gaining more confidence. She Loves Tech will continue to support and champion the development of strong female representation in technology, and we’re excited to be part of the equality conversation,” they said.
